Often the process of prevention to avoid the development of some diseases like breast cancer are so easy to follow that neither take into account. I mean, a new study indicates that only drink three cups of tea a day greatly limited the chances of developing breast cancer in young women.

The possibilities of developing a tumor decreased to 37 percent in women under 50 who drink at least three cups of tea a day.

Researchers believe that the properties of tea to prevent cancer have better effects on the types of tumors that usually develop in younger women. Risk factors for developing the disease ranging from overweight to have a history of several women in the family who suffered breast cancer.

The news of this disease do not stop, the progress on cure and prevention does not stop generating news. In this case, some research suggests that there are some foods that may decrease the risk of breast cancer, these are:

  • Yellow-orange vegetables: are those with beta-carotene.
  • Cruciferous vegetables: radishes, broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi, cabbage, turnips and turnip greens. All these show indole-3-carbinol, which in women decreases the levels of a type of estrogen that is what could potentially cancer. (more…)

And like everything dark, cancer also is full of myths. Some of these mistaken beliefs, as well as harmful wrong induce a disease restricted care.

One such myth says:  “You have to worry until menopause.” This myth is obviously false. For though it is true that the chances of breast cancer increases with the passage of time does not mean that it can appear at an early age. In fact you can do at any age.
